My next wash is my free wash. This will be my last time. This place is way too busy, and not well organized. There are other car washes nearby that are smaller, and I get exactly what I want with good, quick service. Their detail service is not that great either. They only work on certain parts of the interior, while the professional detailer I went to recently did everything. Plus, the professional detailer was cheaper, and my car looked showroom new, instead of just "car wash clean" at Sonny's.
I do not recommend this place due to service!
I was a frequent customer of this car wash for the past several years. I did get good service in the beginning, but lately it has deteriorated. Some of my earlier problems were the constant missing of quarters that I use for on-street meter parking (I guess my fault for trusting they would be left alone). Also, as they have two lanes for full service, one lane moves a lot faster than the other (different each time). I was once ahead of a particular car in the next lane (full service also), and that car made it into the wash while I only moved a couple of spaces and didn't even get a ticket yet. After the wash, the driver drove straight ahead instead of towards the right, where they have people to clean the interior. I showed my ticket, and he first insisted that it was just for the exterior wash, and then he didn't even try to correct the situation once I showed him that I was right. He then walked away from my car and started wiping down the next one. This whole experience from start to finish...about 1 hour!!! So of course, like my previous bad experiences, I did not bother to tip.
