I'll definitely be going back in different seasons to explore more and see the foliage evolve throughout the year.
I've been going here since I was a kid, since my kids were kids, and now my grandkids. It's a great area to explore plenty of groomed and informed trails. It's dog friendly and try to find the geocaches
Been in Lynn woods Mtn bike riding for 35 yrs Great peace of mind just getting out of the city it is in 10 miles of woods in the city with 3 body's of water. very peaceful
The woods are quiet and pretty, and there are some good spots for picnics, pictures, or just enjoying the outdoors. I'm not sure if there's any camping allowed in the park, but we did find a spot where youngsters had clearly been enjoying the excitement of an unauthorized fire.
Awesome park for hiking around with kids or pets. There's not really much rugged terrain, but there's variety in that you can go up for a nice view or down to the water to scrabble around on the rocks. Good levels of hiking for all preferences.
Only hiked about half of it and it was ok but maybe there are better sections so I will review again when I finish hiking the whole reservation. Stone Tower was beautiful and had great views but the hike was very short and not difficult. I checked out a couple other trails and they were the same. Looking forward to going back and trying to find some trails along the water for scenery or maybe something a little more challenging.
Without a doubt the scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of trails to travel along. There are a few loops so be attentive where you walk, but otherwise this is a great place for nature walks. There is normally little wildlife, at least from my experience, and its extremely peaceful.
